Hogue Rubber Grips for Sig Sauer P238
I have a P238 that initially had the very nice looking Rosewood Grips (it was on sale and I got a good price). I really like the weapon but didn't feel the wood provided the best possible grip. They were very easy to replace and I took it out to the range to test them out. For me, the grips made a significant improvement in my grip and the shot groups. It was particularly significant improvement in double-tap drills. I don't think the P238 has much of a bite anyway but I do feel the Hogue grip really improved my grip on the weapon and reduced the perceived kick some. I also felt better after longer training periods at the range but for me, the grip improvement and impact on accuracy was more important than the reduction in perceived recoil. Great grips at an excellent price
Fits my P-238 perfectly. Less than 5 minutes to swap the factory wood grips to these. Adds great feel and despite reviews elsewhere, does not interfere with any functioning of the pistol. If you carry cocked-and-locked it does NOT interfere with thumb-swiping the safety off, nor does it interfere with extended magazine (w/pinky grip). Hogue Rubber Grips for Sig Sauer P238
These grips work nicely to give a little more surface area to hold on to if you have medium to large hands. Being rubber they are non-slip and comfortable. Grips are a much needed upgrade to tame the angry little P938. When you hold this gun tight with standard grips the front strap is quite abrasive and thus hard on the fingers from the stuff recoil of this micro 9mm. this grip fits the Sig P238 perfectly, and will help to tame the recoil from the mighty .380 ACP. ;-) the grip is a good tacky rubber, and it has a slight palm swell on each side allowing for a good purchase on the gun. i don't think the finger groove is really needed, but it isn't in the way for me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
