I haven't needed to make use of these as yet, thank the Lord, but when/if I do it is my understanding from this and multiple other sources/sites, that this item will prevent the thyroid from absorbing radiation if I take reasonable other precautions. I don't look forward to utilizing these, but do look forward to having them in the event they are needed. And in Alaska, it is certainly possible they may be needed if N.K. continues on it's present path. Blessings on each and all of us, and may they never be needed. Just in case
I would rather have this n not need it, rather then the opposite. I assume these will work.
Can't try them out until nuclear attack or some general radioactive alpha particle release happens. These are for Emergency Response kits so you can load your thyroid with non-radioactive iodine to block the ingestion of airborne radioactive iodine while you evacuate the trouble area.
