A More Than Decent Replacement For Casual Players
An easy install for anyone unfamiliar with these kinds of mods. If you're looking for something to casually replace the traditional thumbstick of the N64 for some Mario Kart, Mario Party, Smash 64 this will make a good replacement. However, if you're a more serious player I'd recommend going the pricier route and investing in a Horipad Mini which is a third party controller. The thumbstick will do the job just fine but feels 'off' in a way that's rather hard to explain. Again though, if you're casually playing to relive memories of games like Mario 64 or Banjo Kazooie this is going to do the job just fine for you.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

GCube style stick replacement for n64 co...
GCube style stick replacement for n64 controller. Used this to replace a very crunchy/loose N64 controller stick. Experience is positive overall. Compared to an original stick, I find there is a very slightly larger dead zone in the middle, and then a faster transition from slight input to full directional input. Amazing to relive the classics with a fully functional controller again
This product is amazing in every way. It has the correct design to be able easily replace the pre-existing one in your N64 controller. It also has a great form factor so nothing feels out of place whilst playing the old favourites :D Such an amazing little product that I bought three and each one is just as good as the last. It's okay..
This stick is good for a few reasons but overall bad for many others and the bad outshines the good here, it is a good quality stick that probably wont wear out for a long time, it is responsive and works for a replacement, it is good for some games and bad for others, it is good for racing games like mario kart but terrible for games such as goldeneye where precision aiming controls are required, i use this stick to play mario kart and super mario 64 but for shooter games where aiming is required like perfect dark i would not recommend to use this, the problem is in the sensitivity of the movement its waaay too sensitive and makes it very difficult to aim and to play, certain games are better then others, it depends on the kind of game and the controls. Overall it is a good replacement, but now that i have bought it and used it in a controller, i only really use it for mario kart, super mario 64 and yoshis story. I wouldent buy this again but some people may like it, it just doesn't play every game properly unfortunately its a very different kind of stick with different degrees of movement that not all games can handle, and trust me neither will you..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
