Washing machine like new
The new suspension was easy to fit once I worked out how to get the top off the machine. Needed to disconnect some of the wiring to do the rear right hand rod but that was pretty easy for some one with technical experience, Youtube helped but the top on my model was slightly different to get off.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I don't trust this latest design
There has been another design change. The plastic end piece is now removable and looks weak. It's also possible to easily fit it incorrectly making it even weaker. The damping action is feeble and barely stabilizes tub/suspension resonances. I hope that I'm wrong, otherwise there are going to be a lot of unhappy customers in the near future. I have given a recommendation only because there is no other choices AFAIK, Follow up. The WL1068 that I put the rods into came back going out of balance again. Job’s right.
Happy wife - happy me. Other half has tolerated this problem for ages, without telling the machine had a problem. I tried to do a load and the machine carried on like a good sort. It was only a small load of my clothes while she was on yet another of her many overseas trips with her sister. I found out the hard way. Anyhooo, I ordered these parts, which arrived pretty quick, then I got stuck into changing them. It’s strange how you google the ‘how-to’ and FB reels show different model machines. Why aren’t the same models with the same setup, sold here and overseas, such as in the U-S-of-A? Got the job done. Saved big bucks on her wanting to spend more of my dosh on a new machine. Care when fitting
Am retired from servicing F&P since 1984 and fitted these rods to a 10 kilo washer and did a couple of loads and washer still went out of balance.took the lid off again thinking that I had bought dud rods and noticed that one rod had dropped.Never had a problem fitting before but care fitting these rods making sure to correctly fit rods at the top of the bowl.If not fitted correctly rod will drop.These rods advertised as F&P rods may be an after market brand and are a different top fit to original rods so care when fitting.The washer is ok now but cannot say if this brand is better or worst.Time will tell.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

New suspension solves balance problem
The suspension rod kit solved the balance sensitivity problem. The delivery was prompt and the fitting was easy. The only issue I had was that the top support squeaked as the washing machine bowl moved during washing. Needed a second intervention to insert some non squeaky material into the joint.
