Afterall it does fit the E82 120d... Looks great!
Let me start by saying this E82 strut bar is well made, looks though. Altough it states in big red letters it is not compatible with diesel models, I decided to give it a try in my 2009 BMW 120d. After adjusting the position of the air intake box the bar is in place, looking awesome! You can feel the difference in tight corners, just don't expect this to transform your car into a rally beast. E90 Strut Tower Brace
Extremely solid strut bar. Very easy installation took me 10min; 1. Open your hood 2. Remove the 3 nuts on top of each shock absorber. 3. Unscrew both of the Megan Strut Bar brackets on each side of the main bar. 4. Slide-in each side bracket over your shock absorbers. (Can be slightly tricky) 5. Re-attach and tighten the 6 shock nuts. 6. Slide the Megan Strut bar into position. 7. Re-attach the bar to the side brackets.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy to install, I have a n54 e93 so took off the bolts for the factory strut brace on each side. That gave me room to slip it underneath, after unscrewing the 3 strut bolts on each side. Fell right into place, put strut bolts back on, followed by the one bolt on each side for factory strut bar. Tightened up the actual bar bolts and done. Easy, not to flashy, took some corners hard and it’s a small improvement for sure.
