Sony usually excellent.
Nice piece of equipment - much better than any I had been using. Pic quality superb on both bluray and dvd. Huge improvement on the (cheapo) rubbish it has replaced. Never really did everything it was supposed to
It was really slow getting started, and everything I read said it could handle USB files/input, but it can't. I'm still flummoxed about the wording. Anyway. It can't It makes a heckuva lot of noise on and off, but we figured that was just the price of out-of-date-tech. It was cheap, but it wasn't worth the money. A while after the warranty ran out the tray started to fail and it kept saying that it couldn't do one thing or another because there was something being read it the DVD tray, whether there was anything in it or not. So now the tray stays in and you just lose your DVD unless you pry it out. It was out-of-date, but that's no reason for it to be a failure piece of tech. They should have taken it off the market. I'm just getting around to writing this because the biggest effect it had on our entertainment habits was to quit watching TV for a few months.
