Good printer- HP accidentally made a reliable one!

This may be the last HP Officejet printer that isn’t a cheap plastic made-to-break- after-warranty piece of utter, festering garbage. It’s good for light to medium home use; not rocket ship- speedy, but average for the class and the print quality is good. HP Instant Ink program is available, although that isn’t working out well for another more upscale HP printer that I have. We have two 4650s now and love ‘em. We bought a third LITERALLY to keep new in the box to replace one of those for when it dies. So far, thumbs up on reliability and utility for this one. And like all things they discover to be accidentally good when they put them on the market, HP retired this model in favor of a newer model that meets their standards for easily-breakable garbage. I’ll take these 4650s when, where and while I can get them.

    Box that was used

I was a little concern when I received the Printer in a box that look pretty bad. I open the box very slowly and saw the HP Box inside. When I open the HP Box I was a little concern because it appear that it was a used printer. I hook it all up (had a few problems), but I work it out and it appears that it works O.K. The only problem is the tray is very fragile and it only can hold very limit of papper sheets. I wish this was noted in the listing, but overall the printer is O.K. The set up was not clear because I wanted my computer to connect USB to the printer and my Iphone to connect wireless. After some time I finally connect both devices

  • Nice Wireless Printer

I purchased this printer to replace a printer that I used to connect to via USB. This printer was quite easy to set-up. I set it up on both of our household laptops, although I had to resort to the CD that came with the unit to set up one machine. Overall, quite an easy process. The printer provides excellent quality printing. It enables you to initiate printing from anywhere within your network. You can also e-mail items to the printer to print. It has its own e-mail address. I would strongly recommend this printer to anyone looking for a cost effective all-in-one printer.

  • Wonderful Product

Great product, very easy to set up(didn't need to use the disc software-only needed for fax functions I believe). I currently use this wireless printer with my iMac, MacBook Pro, and iPhone-each runs seamlessly. If being picky the only down fall that I could find would be the paper tray capacity-holds about a half inch worth of paper though. Great for personal or business use as long as you're not printing 100s of pages at once.

  • H P 4650 all in one printer

Print is clear and sharp. It's a little slow in receiving the print command and printing out my work. If you print a lot, that's time wasted waiting on the finished product. Sometimes I wonder if the command was received but slowly I hear it start to print. The little slide out paper holder doesn't appeal to me. Hopefully, it will not give me any problems. So far, these are the only negatives for me in the past 3 weeks that I've owned it. I haven't used the scanner and fax yet.

  • HP 4650 Review

I like the printer a lot I like the fact that it's wireless, I can print away from home from multiple devises. I love the instant ink option as well. Not only do you never run put of ink, you're also able to recycle your empty cartridges with HP for free. My only complaint is that the printer is a little on the bulky side. Still worth it.

  • Can't Hook Printer Up to My Wifi Account.

I am having a problem hooking this printer up to my Wifii account. I've tried everything but it will not connect. I will have to get a computer person in here to help me. So, I've been unable to print anything. I don't know if it was preprogrammed to another Wifi account or what but it is not working. Looks like a good printer though if it would only work.

  • So far so good

This is my second 4650 printer. The first one I had to send back, it just kept saying 'paper jam'. I was sent another 4650 printer, no charge for nothing. This one, (I don't use all that much), is working just fine. I don't use it for fax & I don't use it wireless. It is a little slow & I don't particularly like the paper tray (it's hidden under the printer & you can't see how much paper is in the tray unless you pull the tray out). Setting it up via the enclosed disk was a breeze.

  • HP ALL THE WAY!

I have always only used HP printers because they are amazing and user-friendly and easy! I searched high and low for this white and purple OfficeJet 4650. It’s an amazing all in one machine and has great print quality! It’s very easy to set up and using the Wi-Fi direct and mobile/air printing capabilities is a cinch! The copier/scanner is also impressive and aesthetically it’s a beautiful printer! The best part... A little arm automatically pops out to hold the sheet of paper when it comes out of the printer!! No more need for an annoying paper tray to be sitting there sticking out!

  • So Far So Good

The HP Printer was easy to set up. It's a bit larger than what I thought it would be but that's ok. I only use my printer for small personal print jobs and it has been working great. I like that the printer allows devices to print other than a PC. So cool that I can print from my iPod. Technology is awesome!
