  • Changed my life!

This product has instantly transformed my experience of my period. So easy to use and get used to! Being able to leave it in for up to 12 hours means that I don't need to mess with it in public bathrooms. I do keep a washable menstrual pad in my purse in case it leaks a little (from being full, on my heaviest day). To be clear, I've only experienced very slight leakage when the cup is full - and it holds a lot! I recommend this revolutionary product for anyone and everyone. I wish someone had told me sooner!

  • Have been using for about 6 months now

I have to say I was a little intrigued when I first hard about a menstrual cup. I originally was looking for organic or bleach free pads/tampons for vaginal health. Then as I researched further, I discovered there'd not a lot of regulations for what women are putting by or in their most delicate regions. I stumbled upon this and decided to try it. It had no chemicals, nothing to seep into my bloodstream, reusable/earth friendly, cost effective, plus good reviews. So upon first use, it was weird. A lot of fumbling around, kind of messy, and of course bloody. Not one to shy away from a little blood. I continued on. It did get easier to use and more comfortable/less messy. By the end of the week I was in love. I work long shifts, so to be able to put this in, in the morning and basically forget I have my period (aside from cramps) was amazing! I could then go home, clean it in a couple minutes and go to bed, also forgetting it! Now to be fair, my periods are pretty standard, not a heavy flow or anything. And now I'm a pro w it. I do start using it once I begin spotting, so no surprise attacks. But I swear, this thing is life changing! I've travelled w it, swam w it, use the bathroom like normal. I really love that for a few minutes of maintenance a day I can then practically be period free the rest of my time! ❤❤❤❤❤

  • Very convenient!

After years of using bulky pads, I had gotten tired of the feeling it always gave me and how uncomfortable I had always felt, so I looked up about the menstrual cup and wanted to give it a try. After research, reading reviews, and checking out the size I needed (depending on how high or low my cervix was), I was recommended the DivaCup, Model 1 size. I soon ordered it and was excited that it came in the mail. Let me tell you though, I had the hardest time putting it in but after trying for over 24 hours to learn how to put in and watching videos and reading the instruction pamphlet it came with, I got it in successfully and no leaks! Practice makes perfect, so the first time will always be the hardest, but if you keep giving it your all, you'll get use to it and become a DivaCup pro! I'm wearing it now as I speak! Definitely recommend if you're tired of bulky pads like me. Now, I can sleep peacefully at night without having to get up and check to see if I need to change. What a relief!

  • Exceeded expectations , bye bye pads and tampons

Honestly , I’m really impressed with this product . I was very skeptical when purchasing due to the price and I read a lot about knock offs of the diva cup . I figure for the price if it’s a knock off oh well, it’s my first menstrual cup and hopefully not the last. That being said , I have never owned a diva cup before so I can not accurately verify the authenticity, but this seems to be well made . I purchased period underwear incase of leaks and I have very light leaks could use regular (black) underwear . I have a heavy flow and empty it once in the morning and once at nice . Definitely takes some getting used to putting it in/taking out first time I scared myself thinking it was stuck as it works using suction but i got the hang of it quickly . Directions say to turn 360 degrees which I can’t rlly do but still works fine. Highly recommend ! I made the switch to be more environmentally friendly and the simplicity of this makes having a period easy !

  • Where have you been , all my life

I brought this after watching a buzzfeed video and I was sick of the Donald duck butt pads gave me. I hate tampons, so this seemed like great option and value, plus i'm sort of saving the planet. The first time I use it I had trouble inserting it right ,I even called up the company to guide me, yess it was one of the awkwardest phone calls I've ever made, but their tips worked, all you need is to insert it straight in there. After that use those kegel (muscles used when you need to pee) for it completely open. Then, lastly, just push it until nothing is sticking out. I cut the stem to make it comfortable. All in all, this is a great product I wish every women used it because it makes the time of the month a breeze. Plus as an added bonus you feel clean because there is no oxygen hitting the blood leading to a clean fresh lady tunnel.

  • First Timer

Product looked exactly like pic and as described. I've never tried a menstrual cup before, but this seems good so far. I read the instructions and watched a few YouTube videos on it and they're pretty actuate. Takes a few tries to get it in properly to avoid feeling the cup and no leakage, but once you've found it, it's great. I have light cycles, so I was able to go to work and the gym with the cup in and didn't feel it or have any leaks. I'm liking it so far and the fact that I'll save money not needing pads or tampons is a bonus! So at first of you can't seem to get the cup in right, don't give up. Practice makes perfect!

  • superior alternative to tampons

Being a tampon user for many years and not having any major issues, initially I thought the whole idea of a menstrual cup sounded a little disgusting and messy. However, I researched it quite a bit and then while shopping for groceries one day I found the SoftCups that are disposable and decided to try them - it seemed like a small amount to invest to give it a try. I found that what I liked about the disposable is just that - they are disposable, and I liked that I couldn't feel them when they were in. As well I could pee and poop and not dislodge the cup. However, at least for me, the Soft Cups leaked and had to be changed fairly often because of that and the whole process was messy. I liked the whole idea of a menstrual cup by that point though so I decided to invest a little more and try the Diva Cup. I found that if I followed the instructions, the Diva Cup did not leak and I could easily leave it in for 12 hours. It did not come out while peeing/pooping, although it did seem to drift down a bit when pooping, but that could easily be solved by pushing it back up. The stem is a tad long and I can sometimes feel it so I think I might trim it (I believe the package instructions mention this as well), but overall it is very comfortable. I take it out in the shower at night and in the morning I take it out over the toilet and then rinse it out in the sink. This occurs at home so the mess isn't bothersome or difficult to handle. I don't know how I would feel in a public restroom, but I have read solutions for that online. I like it much better than tampons and I don't think I will ever go back to tampons - my complaints with tampons is I had to change them often on heavy flow days and they came out when I pooped. As well sometimes they would start leaking before they were full. As well you have to keep buying them. With the Diva Cup I have none of those problems and it's one initial cost and then you can boil it after your period is over and reuse it every cycle. I highly recommend this product. One final caveat - if you are a virgin I do not know how you will get this in or (especially) out. I think it could be quite painful and maybe impossible. I am 29 yrs old and have not had any children and this size works perfect for me.

  • Great for a mid teen!

My 20-year-ole has been using the smaller size for about 4 years and loves the freedom it gives. This one is actually smaller than the original small version, which is getter for my 12-year-old. Great product once you learn how to use it. There is a bit of a learning curve, but don’t give up. It is worth it.

  • Worth it

If you hate pads and are looking for an alternative to tampons I would recommend the Diva Cup. It does take some getting used to. But once you get the hang of putting it in and taking it out it's no problem at all. The best thing about it is once it's in you can't feel it AT ALL! I'm only on day 3 of using mine but I could definitely see myself sticking with the Diva Cup from here on out.
