Back In The Saddle
After 30 years of a love/hate relationship with the guitar, I made the decision to pursue my 1st love: drums. With the new Alexis technology, having a kit and playing again is an attainable goal! With this practice pad I can get my chops back first. It is sturdy, and takes up no room at all. Any aspiring drummer can use this to keep sharp, and a beginner can use it w/o being intimidated into not practicing. Highly recommended!

Real Feel Practice Pad
I bought the Real Feel to carry around to lessons and to keep my hands up on while traveling. It is compact but if you’ve been playing awhile you should be fine. Like the 12” Real Feel pad there isn’t a tremendous amount of rebound. Every 6” pad that I’ve used has had some movement to it. Therefore, if you are a very heavy hitter you might not be able to get a lot of use out of it before it starts bouncing around. This pertains to placing the pad on a tabletop. I didn’t try it on a stand although I don’t think 6” pads fit on snare drum stands. I did place it on top of my 12” pad that was on a snare stand and it worked fine. Overall, this is a good pad for my uses and I recommend it to those with similar needs. Good luck!

So many uses for this puppy!
I was a little put-off by the size at first, but that's really its strength. So much easier to handle than a 12-incher, encourages lots of different placements and experiments.
