  • Nice track seitch

This item is beginning level. It is metal rails on plastic roadbed with ties and ballast molded in. It is a remote switch and works well using the instructions on the back of the package. It has track locks that hold well even when moving the track. It probably won’t pass the vetaeran rail modeler critique but, when assembled on a layout with scenery, will look very well.

  • Bachmann Turnouts

While this seems to be very high quality, the switching track sections are half the length of Kato's turnouts. I have never had any derailments with a Kato turnout but a Bachmann 3 wheel powered truck seems to want to have the front trucks go one way while the rear trucks go the other.

  • Just restarting the dream.

I ordered, and recieved, in perfect conditon the 5 different items I thought I needed to re-begin my fascination with model railroading, and i will be going through this dealer again. His prices seemed a little better, and he had a nice selection without spending hours looking at Bachman's going, "Or this! Or This! Or This!" and then never buying anything. So thanks for being well stocked without over inticing. (Like E-Bay can be when your sorta looking for something your not sure what. I think you get my drift.) Anyways, I hardily recommend them for model railroad purchases at least, and I heard they give great back massages, but their waiting list is a mile long. (At least that's the skinny down at the depot, but don't quote me on that.) Thanks again! John

  • A good way to change course.

Yes, I would recommend this for several reasons. Even just a cursory look tells you that it's robust. It works well, based on my limited testing. The movement is smooth and fast. Setting it up is a no-brainer; some wires here and the other end there, and it works great. As for being "entertaining", I guess it is if you're seriously into watching trains changing from one track to another, you're in good shape. Cost is definitely not an issue.

  • N Scale Turnouts

Great item easy to work with and enhances the N scale layout

  • Power Routing N Scale Switches

These older model Bachmann N Scale switches can be identified by the wide solid silver bar at the end of the moving throws and Bachmann logo of blue oval with horizontal yellow bar at top of the packaging. These switches are power routing, which means that, useful on analog layouts, the power connection follows the direction the switch is thrown. This allows sidings and passing tracks to be deadened by throwing the switch against them without complicated wiring.. Other trains can then pass by on the live track. Newer Bachmann switches with narrow metal at end of moving throws and different Bachmann logo on packaging claim to be power routing but, when installed, were not.

  • price was good but did not work for me

switch points are a poor design and every car derails it is a problem only with this type of switch

  • It is easy to use. My 5 year old grandson plays with the trains and he can operate the switch with no problem.

Nice turnouts, I like these Bachmann turnouts for easy installation.

  • Ez track switches

Only issue I have is some of the wheel flanges are a little large causing a little hanging up at slow speeds going through them
