The Evil Within puts players in the role of detective Sebastian Castellanos when he is sent to investigate the scene of a mass murder at a former mental asylum only to find himself fighting for his life against malevolent undead creatures roaming a nightmare-induced world. <br><br>Tension and fear is ratcheted up as players must locate limited ammunition while also setting traps to defeat monsters in constantly warping environments that twist all sense of reality.
