Doesn't perform as advertised
TP-Link advertises that this router works with Linux. After days of trying to get the usb ports set up with a printer and external hard drive they would not work with a Linux system or file system. After a net search I found out this is a common problem. . TP-Link does not have any drivers for Linux and the consensus is TP-Link knows this and is not interested in providing drivers for Linux. Yet they still advertise that it works with Linux. Purchased this from the Newegg ebay site. They were so helpful and quick to set up a return. Would I buy this router again absolutely not. Had a bad spot in the house for wi-fi reception, look at price of repeaters and the good ones was half to more than cost of this item and a lot of bad reviews. Much more powerful than my old router
I'm very pleased with this router. It has 3 power levels for the strength of the signal. On high power , it has a much stronger signal than my 4 yr old TP Link Archer C7 router. Before buying this router I had many dead zones around my 4000 square foot home, which to say the least, was very frustrating at times. Not any more.
