Does what it's supposed to.
This is a well-designed accessory. keeps the filter in the vac from clogging so quickly, much easier to empty than having to deal with the filter every time. If you're using your vac for floor pickup, hurry up and buy this asap. I also use my vac as a dustbuster for the car, and this attachment can't really be used in that scenario. minor annoyance, but it is what it is. If Makita could redesign this to sit up beside the main collection chamber, then maybe it could be added and still used as a "dustbuster".
