The Creative Assembly's critically acclaimed RTS franchise goes the story-driven route for the first time with three campaigns designed around one of military history's most complicated figures in Napoleon: Total War. Gamers can control either the legendary general himself, or one of his many Austrian and British opponents, in three campaigns that follow the dictator's rise and fall. Players can reenact Napoleon's early campaigns through Italy and Egypt, and perhaps rewrite history by changing the fortunes of his disastrous march from Moscow and his final defeat at Waterloo.<br><br>As in previous entries in the series, Napoleon: Total War finds gamers controlling massive armies over land and sea in real-time, making use of historically accurate weapons and battle units. An in-depth diplomacy system allows players to broker peace through non-military means such as treaties and espionage, while a full set of online multiplayer options includes editors, gameplay bonuses, and Steam achievements. The "Limited Edition" includes the full game and a voucher that allows players to download two exclusive unit packs. The "Heroes of the Napoleonic Wars" pack offers ten new infantry and cavalry units, while the "Elite Regiment" pack includes five new military forces of its own.
