Exactly what i wanted..
Clear sound both ways,in all conditions,even in very noisy situations..the best function of the piece is the boom,with on/of on calls..when of,the calls are directed on the phone..u can use the phone,or just open the boom and answer the call..this feature is the greatest on this piece,,I wanted a Bluetooth,that i can use by my choice..not like every other piece that directs the call only on Bluetooth if it is on.. On other reviews,i read about problems with the boom.. Till now (1 month,everyday use,20-30 calls per day) i find no problem with it.. Quick easy efficient..

One Weakness Ruins an Otherwise Great Bluetooth Earpiece
I like the size, fit, sound quality, and length of talk time of the Motorola Boom series of Bluetooth earpieces. I do not like the weak and inferior design of the flip Mike because I've had many of them break even though I'm careful opening and closing them. I don't flip them and still they break which leaves the device worthless. Shame on Motorola for not fixing this so these Boom series Bluetooth earpieces would last much longer than they do, especially for what they charge for them!

Excellent product!
I have been using Motorola since the text model. I have lost, them my dog chewed one, wear and tear, I have always seem to find them reasonably priced at Ebay.this is #8 I specifically like the style not way out there. The fact that the earpiece does not go inside the ear is the best feature. The fact is I answer calls and stream music all day long. Battery life is excellent. Thankyou for a reliable product.

Very similar to original Motorola Boom
I bought this to replace the Motorola Boom that I lost. Although the appearance is slightly different, it has all the same features as the original model. It does the job as advertised.

Very good with flaws
I have used the Boom BT in several model successions over many years. The lack of durability of the flip boom has been a consistent flaw. I discovered last year that the boom can be replaced. However, after doing so, my unit would reset itself over and over at the slightest touch of the boom. I couldn't figure out a solution. I do keep buying them because of the excellent sound quality on both ends. Great volume range makes it useful especially in loud environments. For the Boom 2+, the product information says 7 hours of talk time.The voice prompts on the unit tells the truth stating 5 hours. Motorola needs to correct their advertising. And, why would a newer version of a product have worse battery performance? It is a little over priced given its fragility.

This product does everything it says it does. it comes well packaged and has a few options for how you want to wear it. And it has a long range. It also can store two phones that you want to use without changing anything.

Great Value Headset
It works. Simple as that. There is an additional benefit for me, though. The speaker is external. I wear hearing aids and this external feature is a must for me. Also, I work with learning challenged students who must call me during travel training exercises. They tell me they can hear me clearly when I respond to their calls when I’m driving. Not well made
I always use this brand/type of Bluetooth because I have small ears and putting the ear piece in my ear isn’t possible. This model sits on the outside. The problem is the boom mike extension always breaks off. This is my third one! I can’t find another brand that fits like this one so I’m resigned with buying a new one every six months

I almost never write a review..This product deserves one..On the side of the box and in the description of the product it says talk time is up to 9 hours, but the bluetooth announces up to more than 6 hours of talk time.Additionally on8 the box it states you can travel 300 ft. not true..Ony the basic 32 ft.from the cellphone.

One of the best Bluetooths
I have had several of the Motorola Boom Bluetooth. I've used them for years. I love that it announces the phone number of the caller and that you can use it for two phones simultaneously. Over the years the quality has declined. The flip piece that turnsvitv on and off breaks easily. You can simply open it and it will break off. This Bluetooth is getting more and more difficult to find. I dont know what I'm going to do when I can no longer find it.
