Not quite like Microsoft, but still a good pen for the price.
This pen actually performs better than I expected for the price. I'm using it for a Lenovo Yoga 720 tablet and it pairs up without the need for Bluetooth. I mainly use it for Microsoft note and does very well so far. If you are used to using Microsoft's pens, you will notice a slight degradation in the quality of writing. There is no eraser like Microsoft's, instead you have to press a button on it, which actually isn't bad. I wish it had a rubberized tip. The friction against the slightest dirt on a screen will feel like you are scratching the screen (it doesn't). Also while the writing is very smooth, it doesn't quite match the feeling and precision of a MIcrosoft pen. Overall it's still excellent for the price and I'm happy with the purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Feels Perfect in the Hand
I had tried another pen but this turned out to be the absolute best choice to pair with my Lenovo Flex 5. The pen simply feels right in my hand. It has great balance that feels just as a quality pen should feel when writing or sketching. I honestly cannot think of anything that is not fantastic with this pen! The only thing that I do not find terribly impressive is the holder that allows you to keep the pen handy by placing it in the holder that you can slip into a free USB port. As I'm sure anyone would find, having a five or six-inch pen in the required position does not work well. It blocks all other ports on whichever side of the laptop you place it. Genuine Lenovo Active Pen for half retail price

Works wonderfully
Works really well. It's a totally new experience to use a laptop with an active pen for drawing, sketching, designing, and note taking. The only thing i wish it came with was a case or at least a cap for the tip to protect it while it's tossed in your bag. Better than other OEM pens that cost twice as much
These LENOVO pens are so much better than the OEM pens. Our DELL laptops come with pens that retail for $99, but we are able to get for $74 if we buy in bulk. Those DELL pens have push-on (not screw-on) ends where you insert the AAAA battery and the push-on end sections are not always snug enough to stay closed, Also, the DELL pens have "collars" at the tips that too easily separate from the body of the pen, snapping right off. Plus, DELL does not give you spare tips with the pens. The LENOVO has a nice straight-forward screw-on end for the battery access, and a very solid collar around the pen tip, and comes with spare tips. Also, we like the pocket-clip on it. Our users are constantly losing their over-priced, poorer-quality DELL pens which have no pocket-clip. The LENOVO pen fits just as comfortably in the hand and interfaces just as well with the touch displays we use them with (whether DELL, DYNABOOK, ACER or LENOVO).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Missing pieces
So far it looks good but this was sold as like new and did not include the battery which states on the box it does and nowhere on the original post did it say I’d have to supply it myself.
