The gear vr is something out of this world. The feeling is great for people who is into the new technology and like to experience new things. This thing is great for killing time. It takes some time to get used to it tho, my eyes got tired after 2-4 of use but you can take little breaks every 30 minutes or so. Good for what it was when released.
This May 2019, four technology of 2015, this is a very good buy. However the newer gear headsets, are from 2017, and partial of 2018. What they share the same name they are miles apart and quality all the way around. Furthermore they do not come with the controller either. So to be fair I am going to first judge it on 2015, it's comfortable, the view is adequate and above still many of the lower end VR units you will see. However when compared to newer units is mentioned is not as nice. It has controls on the outside, is lightweight and compatible. It is important to note that this may not be compatible with all Samsung phones as the adapter had changes on different models. For around $19, in 2019 it's a pretty good deal. However if you spend about $40 more you can get the newer headset that is not planned on being replaced even know it was 2017 the last model was updated. This is according to reports in the spring of 2019 that there is no current plans to release any new model, nor are reports of any newer model being created in the near future. So why this is a good deal, the technology is far behind and will only get worse. On 1080P you can barely see the quality, when tested on a Samsung seven, it was not able to use the full advantage of that phones capabilities so you can imagine on your phone it still would not have the ability to use all the pixels in an efficient way.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nifty VR Goggles
The product came sealed and works perfectly. I mostly use it to watch movies at night so I don't disturb folks who are trying to sleep. It's excellent quality and delivers as to what the specs say they would with my old S7. The VR experiences are pretty cool. The only app that is lacking is NBA on TNT. Great Value at a Great Price
These are awesome. Our son showed us his and we had to get a VR headset for ourselves. I was surprised at how intuitive these really are. Watching a play as you are on stage with the actors and performers is incredible. Especially when they look right at you and smile at you. Underwater experience, playful experiences and a lot more... for free! You can buy VR items for $0.99 and up but there are so many free ones that we have a lot of viewing pleasure ahead with no additional costs. My hat's off to Samsung for their genius ideas and products.
