Great Functionality and Value from Casio
Nicely designed, reasonably priced calculator. Has all the functions students and many professionals need in a basic non-programmable calculator. Display is clear, keys are a good size, the slip-on hard case protects the keys and makes it easy to slip in a pocket, and best of all the internal battery is a single standard AAA sized user replaceable battery. It should run for around 2 years before the battery needs replacing, and this is done by removing 6 small screws on the back. I much prefer devices that use either AAA or AA batteries, rather than button cells or in-built rechargeables, as they are easy to purchase and replace.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent features, perfect for a student
Had one for a decade, until I lost it and had to buy another one. My favourite feature on this calculator is being able to see fractions as 'fractions' instead of some weird symbol unlike some other calculators I had the displeasure of using. It is easy to convert fractions to decimals and vice versa. This calculator uses AAA batteries so easy to replace, the only downside is that you will need tiny screwdriver to replace them. Still a great little investment, that I know will be useful for years to come. Definitely recommend this to a highschooler, university student, or anyone dealing with numbers or needing calculators. I purchased a number of calculator apps which were all terrible to use.
