I bought this speaker because my daughter is getting married on a streetcar, so a portable powered mini pa system was the solution. I am a pro guitarist, musician, songwriter and singer so I know quality when I hear it. I plugged in a cheap Fender mic in and it sounded quite good considering the quality of the mic. I charged it fully before actually using it and it is incredible if it lasts 20 hours on a full charge as stated in the manual. I am going to use it as a monitor for a three piece group I'm putting together starting to work in January........I took it to my daughter's house to test it with the Bluetooth and mic and it works fine and has enough power and punch for what will be needed. I'm very impressed with this little potable powered mini PA system
