Yes it is 3D, but...
It reminded me of someone's home video from a vacation at a nature park that was turned into a movie, inproper settings or distances for camera shots were too close in on some shots distorting the 3-D effect, and I don't remember seeing a jaguar once in the whole movie or anything more that a few birds. I set my expectations higher than the movie can deliver and I don't believe it's the movies fault...
