First of all, I want to get something out of the way with regards to the kits age…..
It’s an older kit but is one of those produced after 2010 which puts it in a safe range for handling.
With that said, I don’t think beginners should attempt it. Not because it’s complicated, but because it’s inconsistently tough, which makes you apply force where unnecessary, and that can break parts and possibly ruin your day….the transformation requires extra care!!
Despite all that….I think it’s a spectacular visual treat.
The paint job is a cut above the rest. It has to be since the Unicorn mode is just a blank canvas….You have to see it in person to notice the quality in paint.
We’ve got ABS plastic making up the frame, which adds weight making him feel substantial……
This guy is a necessary addition to any collection, simply because it’s one of the most unique looking mechas ever designed and it will aesthetically stand the test of time forever….
You can see the uploaded pics for some size comparison with the custom Freedom 2.0 (my favorite)…
[Fun fact: despite the Nu, Unicorn towering over the Freedom, the Freedom actually weighs 8 tons more than the Nu and at least 25 tons more than the Unicorn!!! Essentially the Freedom is more or less as heavy as Sazabi!!!ðŸ¤]
