Great Series of the day.
I can not believe how much I am enjoying these old shows. Why they were ever taken off of the air is mind blowing to me. I had been looking for any way possible to see a few episodes and I wasn't sure if I wanted to have an entire boxed set because I haven't seen it in like 20 plus years. I was completely thrilled by how many old quality actors from back in the day are featured. I have to say that I think this is one of the best bang for the buck purchases I've made in years. I am completely happy with the purchase. Thanks for bringing some good nostalgia and ended a search that had been ongoing for years... One of my favorite tv series from back in the day. This is a great box set for a super awesome price. I do wish the picture transfer to dvd would have been better but for the price you can’t complain too much. One of my favorite campy horror shows!
This is definitely one of my favorite horror shows, next to Tales from the Crypt. It's the classic cheesy horror from the 80s - 90s that so many of us weirdos love. A Great 80s TV Anthology
A great overall series, though one disc is broken and won't play all of the eps. Most of the stories are good, a few are great, and many of them play for laughs which are on-and-off. Most of them don't have/show a concrete ending, so one has to imagine a lot, though that's OK for most of them. Best eps include "Halloween Candy," "Trick or Treat" which is the pilot, "Season of Belief" which is funny and creepy-scary, "The Cutty Black Sow," and many more. A Classic Horror Show!
I remember watching these as a kid in the 80s after the 11 ‘o’clock news. The regular station wouldn’t play them before then. Wow, the 80s were something else! There were some really scary gems.
