It has also an automatic aperture with electromagnetic diaphragm mechanism and provides f/2 to f/16 range. It is also designed with a rounded diaphragm opening consisting of nine blades. Moreover, it is built with six elements in four groups, including two aspherical lens elements. This lens provides users with a 57 AOV in Nikon FX format and 38 50' in Nikon DX format. It utilises STM for focusing, and it allows a minimum focusing distance of 0.29m from focal plane.
