I've installed about a dozen fork gold valves over the years, and they have been great. Then, Race Tech recently went paperless.... you no longer get a valving chart that shows increases in stiffness vs decreases. You don't get the single stage vs two-stage option. You get one valve stack from the Race Tech computer with no references for changes in either direction. In my last case, I got a single stage stack layout that was no good for what I wanted. So you can no longer get a two-stage layout unless you contact them and even then, I just received a different single stack layout, requiring shims that were not included in the kit. Lucky for me, I had kept a lot of shims over the years and all my old valve chart printouts so I could build my own stack for my YZ125 as a woods bike. The "paperless" idea is a bad idea, in my opinion, as it reduces your options (without major hassles) and takes away from the value/versatility of the Gold Valve product,
