Overall, quality & price ....the best on the market
I have tried a number of secateurs over the years.........the Felco 2 in my opinion, is the best value for money . They are extremely well made, & with the odd sharpen now & again, perform consistently over a long period of time. Replacement parts are also readily available in the event they suffer accidental damage. There is no doubt there are multiple choices in this field.......prices range from $8 to $18 in the lower range, but the longevity & quality is questionable. After losing my favourite Felco secateurs I didn't want to replace them with any other brand because I know how good they are. I cannot recommend this product highly enough and had no hesitation in buying an identical pair to my very old but still very efficient Felco secateurs. The Original Felco 2 are durable and reliable. The blades can be kept clean with fine sandpaper and warm water to remove plant sap. You then hand dry with a towel and spray with WD40 oil on Blades and spring. The blades can be sharpened using a sharpening stone.
