  • Worked awesome for my purpose

Put a headlight and taillight on my 1994 Honda XR100R and a new stator with a lighting coil. Didn’t feel like buying new bulbs frequently, so I needed a voltage regulator. I liked the fact that this one was adjustable, plus it is fairly priced. Turned out to be spot on perfect. The compact size tucked up and under the tank great! Didn’t mess with the adjuster, and probably won’t now that it is under the tank. Fired up the bike before I put the tank on with a multi meter measuring the AC voltage. Went up to like 13.5V right off of idle then settled in at about 11.9v at 1/2 redline. Headlight stayed nice and bright, and you could tell when the regulator kicked in as its brightness leveled off and didn’t get brighter. Works exactly as advertised.

  • Perfect fix

It was exactly what I needed to fix the voltage spikes on my 1985 yamaha yt125 3 wheeler. With just a little splicing and applying water tight heat sinks, I now have an operating head and tail light. Note: I left the regulator at the stock setting.

  • Saved my day

I used it on a 1974 Suzuki TS185 to control the lighting coil voltage when converting the 6 volt headlamp to a halogen 12 volt bulb. Also replace the instrument bulbs with 12 volt. The unloaded output of the lighting coil can reach 75 V ac but the regulator controls perfectly and is easily mounted under the seat. Saved my day for sure.

  • Great Product For Purpose

Got this for a 6 volt CT110 that was generating up to 20 volts in the headlight circuit. New OEM reg/rec didn't help. Tried a 12 volt bulb but that eventually blew too. Got one of these. Unlike the picture the little adjuster is sealed and needs to be resealed if it is moved. I decided to leave it be as it was supposed to give about 13.8 volts. Once installed it did limit voltage to a little over 13 volts.

  • Worked in my application

Worked to get headlights running on an '82 XR200R. Kept blowing bulbs. Wired the regulator into the lighting coil, grounded to frame, mounted and done.
