    This is not the throttle tube you are looking for...

    For those of you looking to upgrade your stock R3 to this throttle tube to increase the mechanical leverage of the throttle, this is NOT the one you want. The cable cam is not elliptical like the stock throttle tube, but it is exactly the same size, which will not make the throw shorter—only linear compared to stock. Get the factory Yamaha OEM R6 throttle tube, as there are too many different variations from Motion Pro to make this a worthwhile purchase.

    Purchased it for my MT07 because it should make the threshold smaller like it is on the R6 but the difference is almost non-existing. I can only imagine R6 people switching their original tube with this would feel even worse.

    Best budget upgrade for yamaha r3

    Fits yamaha r3 but you have to dremel out the end because the r3 needs a open end throttle tube other than that it made the bike a whole lot more responsive Shipping took much longer than expected
