BDL's 8mm belt drives have been around for many years. Most belt drive enthusiasts still think that these units are the best size and combination for all around riding and dependability. Harley Davidson FLH 80 Electra Glide 1978.
Easy to install and works great so far. Just make sure you have the right tools (impact wrench, hub puller) to make the job easier. Took no more than an afternoon to remove the stock primary, starter, etc. and convert the bike to a belt/kick only.
What can I say, this was a perfect fit and runs fine. All clutch plates and existing components fit in this new clutch shell with no issues whatsoever. Highly recommend for anyone looking to do a open or enclosed belt primary.
