Worth the upgrade... Maybe!?
One night I was riding down the road, over a asphalt patch, the top half of my gas cap flew off. In suppose the engine vibration loosened the bolts. I needed I new gas cap. I found a replacement for about $25, but then I would have 2 keys, the ignition and the gas cap, I didn't want that. I found the Baron gas cap because of a youtube I saw, and quite liked the look of it. PROS Looks better than stock, has a more flushed looked/ protrudes less Good quality, feels hefty Easy installation No key: don't have to take the key of the ignition at the gas station. Taking of the gas tank is advised but not really needed CONS Pricy! I think $80+ is too much. About $65-75 Should be right for it. Have to buy a better epoxy! (It comes with one, but it's not long lasting- Get locktite!) The gas cap hole is tapered at the bottom about 2mm. In order for the adapter to go completely in, I had to tap that bottom lip/edge. I inserted a ratchet and just banged around the edge until it went in.

Profiler gas cap for metric motorcycle
These are easy to install, reasonably good quality but over priced in my opinion. Doesnt really give the low look I was after. If I had to do it again i would get the neck on the tank shortened and use a more affordable aftermarket product. Still a good item, easy to use. Looks fairly good but should be priced down due to quality and competition prices.
