Great product - would buy again
Got these at a great price on eBay,much better than from the Bose store which holds firm on the 249 price. Bought these for a few reasons. First was to mow the lawn with as I've not been satisfied with any other noise headphones I own. It's winter here in New England so will update my review later in the summer. The most pleasant surprise was using them while snowmobiling. Once set up almost all wind and loud engine noise goes away. Finally I can arrive at my destination fresh without ears ringing and asking people to repeat themselves when talking. Bonus there..... The earphones are small and fit in my jacket pocket easily. In our group we were able to link those headphones in to our communication system so rider to rider chat was crystal clear. Double bonus..... The third reason was for air travel as that constant jet whine made for stress while traveling. Haven't tried that yet but pretty sure it would work. Update on that next flight our family takes. The wires seem durable and the Silicone ear buds are soft on the ears which we all know are very sensitive to any pressure applied. When snowmobiling I've gotten 8 plus hours of comfort out of them. Triple bonus...... The main control is a tacky rubber and collects all sorts of lint and dirt but cleans easily so be aware of that. Bose was thinking that the unit if tacky would not fall out of a pocket there so that's why the tacky feature . It's really amazing to hear the quiet these headphones give you once switched on. I like it to be underground in a cave . All you can hear is the deafening sound of silence! These headphones will replace the older QC 35 over the ear units we own now which are awesome as well. I've tried them while using my farm tractor ,leaf blower and Atc. All but the leaf blower were quieted very much. Not sure why it doesn't like the leaf blower. All in all a quality Bose product that works

Bose QC20 Headphones
These were very expensive because they have noise cancelling. I purchased them because I work in a noisy office. They do not cancel any of the noise, I can still hear everything. I am using them to listen to talk radio and it comes in clear just like my old $5 headphones. Also keeping these things in my ears for a couple of hours hurts.

Best I've tried so far!
These are best noise canceling ear-buds I've tried so far, and most comfortable too. They will not always completely isolate the outside noise (depends on kind of noise and it's frequency content) but reduction is substantial, especially compared to other NR ear-buds out there - nothing comes close. They are very comfortable and there are different sizes of rubber pads to fit your ears, and so well that outside noise is greatly reduced even with NR turned off . Sound quality is solid but not greatest for music. Mic is great, talking on the phone is a pleasure and people on the other end hear every word very well, don't recall anyone complaining about noise or inaudible words. All made from durable materials that lasts for a long time.

Quality and comfort, great noise isolation
I've used these headphones for years. Got a second pair recently. They fit well in the ear with soft silicon gel, which means they feel comfortable and do an amazing job isolating external noises, particularly plane noise or even background noise (e.g. fans, AC, etc). They also work well in reducing distractions from people around who who may be talking or other random sounds which helps quite a bit in concentration if you're in a business setting.

Best Headphones
I bought this set for my daughter. I have owned mine for a couple of years. I love these headphones. The noise cancelling works very well. I know many people rave about the big headphones, but for me that was the problem. They are big. It is hard enough getting through security without adding more weight or size to what you are carrying on the plane. Noise cancelling on planes is great with these.These take up minimal space, work really well, and the battery lasts for a long time. I have had mine last for eight hours. If you also want to have a phone conversation, it doesn't get any better than this.

Excellent choice
I was worried about the comfort and performance of earbuds and waffling between these and the on- or over-ear version, but I am very glad that I decided to go this route. They are comfortable, work well, and do a great job with noise cancelling. I can't comment too much on high-end audio performance, but they seem great for the few times I've turned the music up. I use them more to be able to listen to music at lower volume levels at work and when mowing because they shut out the other noises, and they work great for that. I'm very happy with the performance.

Very nice headphones, just not what you see on the Bose website.
These headphones are great, but I don't think they are the latest model. Probably my fault as I didn't inspect the picture for the listing as I should have. These don't have the up and down volume buttons like they do the Bose website but are very nice and for what I paid for them I guess they are worth it. Time will tell if I wish I had the volume buttons but so far so good!

These REALLY work!
I put-off trying these because I don't really subscribe to the "Bose Sound" (lots of fake bass). I was pleasantly surprised at the decent sound and shocked at the effectiveness of the noise-cancelling. Pretty spendy, but worth it, if only to keep from making that crying baby spend the rest of the trip sitting on the wing. Just treat 'em carefully; the wires look pretty fragile.
