Fantastic and l am getting them for friends

This is so cool, and works extremely well. You are limited to using it ONLY if you have no imagination: melon balls, deseeding cukes, or zucchini, grating ginger and so much more. Almost as useful as my Norpro Ricer which I use to squeeze spinach, shredded cucumber for Tzatziki, zucchini bread, potatoes naturally...and now making baby food for grandchildren...any soft veg like green beans, not to mention fruits and to drain oil from Tuna!

Not worth the money. Cheaply made

First of all, the handle is only maybe 3 -4" long, so it's very small. The item is cheaply made, being light weight and poor quality. THe little sharp thing on the business end probably works but the item is too small to be a comfortable fit for an average-large person's hand. It's made in China and lives up to the often made complaint of poor quality. I would not recommend this. It is also very over priced for how it's made. The handle is a cheap hard plastic and doesn't add to the comfort of the tool in the hand at all. I will not buy one of these again. In fact, if there is a free return policy, I will return it and get my money back

  • Simple and efficient

The Norpro corer is easy to use and cuts out tomato cores very quickly. I'm also especially happy with the limited waste. When I core a lot of tomatoes with a pairing knife I start to get sloppy and lose more tomato meat that I would like. This simple corer makes it easy to limit removal to only the core even when doing bushels of tomatoes.

  • Tomatoe corer, by Norpro

I saw this corer on a TV show called "Cooks Country Kitchen" recently, where they evaluate appliances, kitchen tools, & products, as well as give recipes. It comes out of Vermont. This corer was one of about 6 corers, rated for effectiveness. Their team said that this corer was (for 1 or 2 tomatoes), no big deal, but if you are coring tomatoes "by the case, or cases", this will cut you're coring time -- in half !..... That's for me.... Now I am ready for next season.

  • great for strawberries

I was looking for another Pampered Chef huller but could not find it on their website. I found this one and ordered 6 since the price was great. Now, , I can give them to friends. Works great. I like this style much better than others I have purchased over the years. The red color makes it easy to spot in my drawer.

  • Awesome gadget

This is an excellent little tool to hull strawberries! Had them processed in little time. Made the task so easy. Cannot wait to use on tomatoes. This works so well that I ordered extra to give to family members & friends. They also love it.

  • Great Little Gadget

I love this thing. I had one for years and must have accidentally tossed it with some vegetable peelings, so I bought another one right away. I use it for hulling strawberries quickly and easily during strawberry season and for coring tomatoes during canning season. And I use it all year round for scooping out the seeds and pith from jalapenos, serrano peppers, and other peppers. It is absolutely terrific for this purpose! I was using it for that one day and a friend saw me; now everyone I know has one to scoop out pepper seeds.

  • Fits beautifully into my hand

I love this style of strawberry stem remover. I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that I wish the corer end was a tad bit smaller for strawberries. I find it takes a bit more of a bite out of the strawberry than I would like. It works fabulously for tomatoes!
