Very Good Headphones For The Price!
Nice Headphones...Good Sound Quality (Good Hi's, Bass is just Ok) Good to finally have a Pair of Wireless Headphones! Works Good with all of my Bluetooth Devices so far (Phone, Computer) and they are very Lightweight (Sometimes I forget I have them on around the Neck!) As far as being on the Ears, they can cause some discomfort after long sessions (over an hour) but nothing too serious. Battery seems to last long, but it can take a While to Charge Them back to 100% Overall, Very Good Headphones for the Price! Y50, because Ynot?
First off, I have only ever owned a pair of Panasonic ErgoFit in ears and SoundPeats QY7. I used to own a gaming headset (Xiberia E1) which was a very disappointing product lacking in both sound quality and reliability. The Y50 produces the clearest and cleanest sounds compared to all the above. Instruments are sharp but not harsh. Bass is mild but tight. The highs are airy. The mids, to me, is where it truly shines. The sound these headphone produces belies it's diminutive size. Putting on the headphones and listening to the AKG Y50 for the first time was surprisingly immersive. The sound it produces seems so much larger than its actual physical size. It reminds me of my first experience with headphones as a small boy. The only downside is how it clamps against the ears. The discomfort is barely noticeable, but after a couple hours, my ears get sore as the cartilage is pressed against the spectacle frame. However, the battery life is amazing. My old Bluetooth earphones will die long before discomfort became an issue. The soundstaging of the Y50 is not as good as a carefully set up stereo system, but it is close. For sound quality, I wouldrank the Xiberia E1 as 1 star, the Panasonic ErgoFit as 3 stars, the SoundPeats QY7 also 3 stars, and the AKG Y50 as a solid 5 stars.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Another excellent product by AKG
This is an excellent headset that has good bass range. However when tested, the treble range was a bit limited. Lightweight and easily portable(came with a bag) it easily paired with several other devices I tested it on, Kindle fire tablet, Samsung Note phone, and desktop. It did not match the range of my over the hear headphones that I use for my console and gaming PC, but as an on the ear device that you could take everywhere, it more than fits my needs. It also has longer battery life than any other previous wireless headphone that I have had.
