Great UPS on a budget
I Purchased the CyberPower 2200VA UPS to keep my NAS running and internet connection alive when the power goes out. It really couldn't be easier to setup. Just plug the unit into the power and plug any device you what protected into it, and you are good to go. There is also an optional USB connection for the NAS so it can monitor the power state. Then the NAS can be setup to protect itself prior to the UPS running out of battery power. In my setup (6 drive NAS, modem and router) it lasts at least 40mins There is an audible alert when the power goes out and the UPS switches to its battery, this will sound periodically until power comes back on. The UPS automatically switches back again when power is restored and for the price I think it great value.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Terrible noise. Tech support hasn't responded with proposed solution.
This item looks good and works OK, but it makes a HORRIBLE noise that you can hear several rooms away when the battery operates. I have reported this to technical support but they became defensive and have not (yet) provided a solution. If this issue is solved the product will get maximum marks (except for quality assurance), but until then I can't mark it positively given my experience to date.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Purchased the CyberPower 2200VA UPS to keep my NAS devices and internet connection alive when working from home. The unit itself is a pretty easy setup with 4 outlets on the rear, There is an audible alert when the power goes out and the UPS switches to battery, this will sound periodically until power is restored.. Excellent UPS!
Bought one to replace my aging EAST UPS (they are an excellent UPS too) and wow this UPS is excellent as well, very informative on-screen software as well as the screen on the UPS itself. Holds up fine against SE QLD's very ordinary power grid. *This UPS does emit an audible hum from the transformer inside but it's no louder than light fan noise from a PC. Plenty of grunt to keep stuff alive
This is the 2nd one I've bought. This time I have bought it to keep my electronic devices alive (replacing one of lesser capacity). My other one keeps my two fridges and two freezers alive with a bit of help from extra battery capacity added on, but the capacity on this model is already higher than most other consumer-grade UPS devices on offer and hasn't let me down yet.
