The Fossil Machine Chronograph wristwatch for men is a practical machine that keeps up with the rigors of your lifestyle. It is designed for active men, but it is more than handsome enough to wear on formal occasions. The dial is colored a deep black and fitted with bright high-contrast markings for the clock and the subdials. You can easily read the face of this analog watch at a glance. Hours and minutes are delineated through iconic lines, dots, and single marks. The date and the three subdials utilize tasteful Arabic numerals to convey necessary information. All the dial markers and the second, minute, and hour hands are treated with glowing paint. This is so that your watch can be read under challenging light conditions. This Fossil Machine wristwatch for men also features a three-part chronograph. There is a subdial for 60 seconds, one for 60 minutes, and one for 24 hours. The clock is controlled through the bezels and crown that are mounted on the right side of the watch. Other functions can be accessed this way as well. The crown is of a push-and-pull variety for easy watch setting. The surfaces of these watches are made with a striking knurled texture that gives them a rugged look. The function buttons and crown are similarly textured and colored to complete the visual effect of these accessories.The case is 42mm in diameter and 12mm thick. It has been colored charcoal through an ion plating process. The case and bezel are all comprised of stainless steel. The bracelet is made of comfortable and adaptable silicone. It has a matching black color, measures 22mm in width, and is 7 inches in length. This means this Fossil watch is perfect for you if you have a larger wrist size. The watch is held on with a clasp that folds over to close it to your wrist. There is a safety release on the stainless steel clasp for emergencies. There are also two strap keepers made out of the same dark silicone material as the bracelet. The movement of this Fossil watch depends on the measurement of the oscillations of a microscopic piece of crystal. Quartz is the crystal most commonly used, as it produces consistent and perceptible signals. An electrical system detects these oscillations and magnifies them into a reliable and attractive time-keeping system. Accessories like this Fossil Machine Chronograph will run for months without gaining or losing so much as a second. An integral battery powers all functions of these watches in practical perpetuity. The window of these Fossil watches are made from perfectly transparent mineral crystals that have been treated to resist scratching. The face is sealed to the case, and the back of the case is solid and strongly attached as well. This confers water resistance on these watches up to equivalent liquid pressures of 50 meters in depth.

    Much larger than it looks in the picture.

    I don't like the large watches that are popular today. I was hoping to replace an older watch that broke and can't be repaired. This one looked similar but once I got it. It is twice the size.. unfortunate that manufacturers force everyone to wear what might be popular at the time. I hate it.
