You'll even have the ability to frame each of your shots without ever worrying about the distance from the viewfinder to the lens. The Nikon D3300 bundle gives you everything that you need to capture your memories no matter what your subject. Whether you choose to shoot stills photos or glorious full HD video, you have the capability to produce quality shots with this DSLR camera. The Nikkor lenses capture your life in the best light with ideal effects to enhance the experience. You can attach an 18-55mm lens to the camera body to capture the shot that you envision every time. This SLR product comes with a photography kit that includes an AF-S DX VR II 18-55mm lens for your convenience. The Nikon D3300 has a combined sensor and processor to create high-resolution imaging with low-light sensitivity for your luxury. It offers an expandable ISO of 25600, continuous shooting up to five frames per second, and full HD in 1080p. Its video recording capabilities allow you to capture the moment without missing a beat or any details with every shot. The sensor design bypasses the traditional optical low-pass filters to give you the sharpness and resolution you want for both photos and videos. This DSLR product has an eleven-point autofocus system for quick and accurate focusing capabilities for a variety of subjects. You can take shots in any type of lighting because this digital camera can adjust to any conditions. In fact, it actually offers a range of shooting modes and features to accent your shots each and every time. These features range from easy panorama mode to picture control for adjusting the color and contrast of your photos and movies. With this D3300 SLR camera, you have the options available to adjust your settings and create high-quality digital photos. Use photography accessories like a tripod to set up the perfect shot or install a memory card to hold many shots. The Nikon D D3300 has a focal length range from 27mm to 82.5mm and a robust VR image stabilization system. This system minimizes camera shake by up to four shutter speed steps, which is perfect for low light atmospheres. It provides a super integrated coating to reduce flare and ghosting, which inherently optimizes image clarity, contrast, and color neutrality. This product has a seven-blade diaphragm that works to create a pleasing out-of-focus bokeh with shallow depth-of-field images. It’s large three-inch, 921k dot LCD monitor features a wide 160-degree viewing angle for high and low angles. Essentially, the active D-lighting even helps to preserve both highlight and shadow details.

When did things get this good in the economy bracket?

Upgraded my old Nikon D50 to the D3300, entry level to entry level. 6mp to 24mp seems like a fairly big improvement but just how big I did not expect. Ease of use is night and day better, so easy to set custom setting using the "i" button on the back of the camera. You can increase ISO sensitivity safely to 3200 without loss of quality meaning super high shutter speeds (1/4000th sec) when zoomed. Add in a VR lens and a huge selection of modes that are easy to use and the quality of pictures is quite frankly mind blowing. All my old lens worked properly with the new D3300, although I did upgrade my zoom to a 70-300VR which is a very nice lens and works very well with this camera. Quality - very good, no complaints Feel - excellent, everything is where it should be, display is big, clear and friendly. Flash works impeccably. Picture quality and resolution is outstanding. Allowing digital editing and further zooming into that generous 24 megapixels. A little softening is noticeable but much less than on the older D50 so each pixel is clearer. Autofocus and tracking could be better but is still very good and much better than on older cameras (or anything in the same price bracket). An almost perfect camera for a fraction of the price of a slightly better one.

Decent camera Beware of the cheap, flimsy accessories!

This is a good Nikon D3300 DSLR, but the story ends there. The 18-55 lens is an actual Nikon product, but the most basic version (without the VR & AF on/off functions). The rest of the accessories are cheap Chinese aftermarkets that leave you holding your breath and wondering when they will fall apart in your hands. The tripod especially is extremely lightweight and flimsy, looking like it could hardly hold a pocket point and shoot camera steady, let alone a DSLR. All in all, I guess you get what you pay for, but don't expect much from this cheap collection.

  • Great camera with nice features for beginners or intermediate photographers.

Love this product, it is lightweight, has great features, but not so many that makes it difficult to use or learn some of the more refined feature options on the camera. Easy to use in auto mode, but also easy to figure out how to use it in manual, portrait, landscape or night landscape modes. Highly recommend this camera.

  • I've begun using it for outdoor photography and nature photos while hiking.

I've owned several Nikon cameras over the years, so I knew what the expect with the D3300. I starting to get into Astrophotography, so I wanted something that would good for manual control and some real fine-tuning. I also wanted the best quality mirror and imaging system. The D3300 was the cutting edge camera of its day, and it still fits well into a budget photographer kit. If you can't afford the $1500 plus for a new Nikon then this was a GREAT option at under $200.

  • Nikon D3300

It's probably a little late to make this review since I bought this not long after they came out but mines still churning out excellent photos after years of use. I mainly got this so my old glass doesn't have to set in the bag and it works fine with those F mount lenses if you don't mind using manual mode. For the price I can't knock it.

  • Very good camera!

I'm very pleased with this camera. It's extremely easy to use, with a built in guide mode. The best camera I have ever had. Excellent photo quality. You will get so much more use out of this camera if you read the Dummies guide to the D3300. Very informative!

  • Great 1st Camera for learning photography.

The camera is easy to use and takes great pictures in many different environments. It's a great entry level camera that would still be useful as your skill set grows.

  • The perfect camera to start on professional photography

I think if you just started in the world of Photography, this is the perfect choice not just for its price, but for its quality. It's easy to handle, has a lot of functions and the image has the finest quality. If you work with this, you'll get the perfect shot always.

  • Awesome Beginner Camera

For the price, this is probably the best camera you can buy if you're a beginner photographer. It has all the functions you need to start learning photography, comes with a pretty decent kit lens, and has a mic input if you want to add a shotgun mic for video (this was removed in the D3400, which is why I opted for this model since I'm a musician and I care about good audio). Now I just need to save up for a good prime lens like the 35mm!

  • Super-Dooper Camera!!!

They say this is an entry level camera! Bull. I am not a pro at pics, but this camera does all you could want. Easy for the very novice to just put on auto and shoot great shots, or add a lens accessory and try to be the pro. Package has most everything you could want, at a really great price. I did order another 55-200 telephoto lens, but that is just me. I took 70 pics at a party the night I got the camera, and the flash did great and made me look like I really knew something. Great pics! And you can even tweek them with the camera setting if you want after the shoot. Much more camera that I expected for the price, and the kit is also very nice. Would highly recommend this for package for anyone wanting to do more than snapshots on a budget. Can't be happier!
