Versatile camera with viewfinder
This is an excellent camera. Great image quality, strong zoom, ergonomic yet compact design, lightweight, yet sturdy. I love that it has both a display screen and a viewfinder. The viewfinder is so immensely helpful when the sun's glare is on the screen. Perhaps the best thing is that it takes standard AA batteries. Lithium AAs last a very long time, it's easy to carry spares in the camera bag, and if they die while you're on vacation, every drugstore or grocery store carries AA batteries. :-)Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Very easy to use, 30X long optical zoom, and now a bargain price
Very easy to us; When you dial into a picture taking mode, the camera explains that feature on the viewing screen. It has a long 30 times optical zoom to get a closeup from far away. My last camera only had a 6X zoom so this is awesome for me. I think it has a 16 mega pixel (don't quote me on that) which gives me great image quality. Great little camera, especially for its price!
Great on road trips. A little orang-y or dark on indoor settings without flash, and too bright with flash. Working on that. Don't think settings will quite cut indoor pics as well as outdoor sunlit ones. Macro setting has a bit of trouble focusing. Really need a tripod to get a clear shot. But I am completely satisfied with the distance and catching landscape at car speeds with the auto setting, where the ISO adjusts quickly. First photo is an example of the orange color. Second and third, the dark. Fourth and fifth, how great it does at a speed of about 65 mph.
