Solid design, great brand, not too heavy for higher than average magnification.
Great binoculars from a world renowned manufacturer, Nikon. Great optics in a strong enclosure, fairly lightweight for a large Porro Prism design. It is a good idea to review binocular designs to see which style meets the needs of the end user. I am very satisfied with this model for bird watching and a bit more magnification than standard ones.

I have a pair of 8X magnification binoculars vand wanted something a little stronger. Was concerned about being able to hold the binoculars steady, but these 10 * 42 are a good compromise. Would recommend them
