I have two Bose L1 model 2 towers and have been using one with the digital connection (looks like an Ethernet cable) and the second tower plugged up through the analog output, This was not the sound I wanted. After much research I found that the only way I could get a digital signal to both towers was to have a second T1. This I found was absolutely correct. easy to use, but it is not easily compatible with the L1 compact. You have to order a different power cord, and it does not mount on the compact's column so you have to order a microphone bracket for it. The mic bracket is cheap plastic that breaks away from the mic stand ( I had to secure it with a 2" hose clamp). and the mounting post makes it very easy to tilt or knock the T1 unit off and to the floor. They do not tell you anything about it not being compatible with the L1 compact when they sell it to you. though. Bose didn't think this one through. After going through all the above, I am very pleased with the T1's performance. I eliminated about 300 lbs. of equipment by purchasing this 5 lb. unit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
