    Not for everyone

    The HandyBar is constructed well enough and does take the weight of my husband (180 lbs). I can’t fault construction for why we don’t use it. The problem that we have that makes this very awkward is that it gets in the way of the person getting out of the car. Perhaps a van or SUV might work, but my full-sized car (a Grand Marquis) with the seat all the way back, does not make the HandyBar easy to use. Maybe it would work for a thin small-framed individual. This is definitely not for everyone.

    It fits any door I've tried. This is a brilliant rugged multi-tool. Aids standing, seat belt cutter, window breaker, and fits nicely in my door well. Easy to pack and carry for trips/rental cars. Better made than the others I saw. I'm handicapped, an older veteran, and tall. It made a difference in my life.

    A Great Tool for Those Who Need It!

    I carry one of these on hand at the church for the elderly who have a difficult time getting in and out of the car, and my wife carries one in her van. These truly do help in getting in and out of the vehicle. An added bonus is that they can bust a window in an emergency, or cut a seat belt. I'd buy again.
