Much better than the (30 year) packaging of the Felco2 were in
I've had my felco 2 secs. for going on 30 years, and they have served me extraordinarily well. The cardboard/ cellophane package not as well. My mum-in-law had a holster and recently I saw an ad and thought it is time. Not disappointed. It's a good holster, these are usually way overpriced for what they are, pretty sure it costs a couple of dollars to make, then we buy them for 40. Belt loops seem to be redundant, as the belt clip (which is not removable) would be poking you in the hip if you were to feed the belt through (or digging into your belt, depending on how you feed the belt through). Rivets seem to be of average quality, they're the ones that flare out like a star on the back. Stitching is fine. I've had it for a couple of months and so far it's held up well. Dad always told me, if you need a tool, save up & buy the best you can, it'll be an great investment you won't regret & if you look after it, it'll look after you. He was right! Using a well designed & made tool is always a pleasure. It does a better, more efficient job & also makes the job safer. These days the shops are crowded with cheap, shiny products that don't last & all too often quickly end up at the dump. What a waste of resources & money. If everyone keeps buying the cheap & nasties, then the time'll come that the good quality products with their higher price (for a reason) are no longer available, as they've been put out of business. All you've got then is more of the crap you've got now as the choice you used to have to go for the best is gone! This Felco Holster is a versatile, very well made, good quality leather Holster. 18 months on and still going strong
Commercial gardener - this is clipped to my belt every single day all day with my felcos going in and out constantly. 18 months of use and as expected doesn’t look brand new but shows no signs of wearing out anytime soon. Have tried numerous other brands at varying expense which only last from a few hours to a few weeks. Highly recommended. Definitely worth the money.
