I've used Power source, Big Boars, Optima, and Braille is the best.
I've read many reviews in battery shoot out articles. A lot of them claim that this battery is the same as many others that have the same weight, CCA, and reserve amps. This is my second battery from Braille. The first one didnt quite last 2 years with a battery tender on it inbetween rides at all times. I was a little disappointed in that fact. All my Big Boars lasted at least 2 years and almost 3. That being said, the Braille cranks my bike way better than any other battery I have tried. Another thing I really like is with all the other batteries I had to keep tightening the battery connections because of the cheapness of the batteries poles. Not with this battery. I use dielectric grease and tighten those babies down. Never had to retighten after that, and I checked! We will see how long this one lasts. I will be happy if it gets to the 2 year mark but if it quits before I will reconsider the Big Boar. I used the Power Source Lightning Start for a few years. They were great when they were American Made but since China started making them for them they are hit and miss. Just to let you know, the battery is cranking an S&S 124 in a Dyna Wide Glide. Thats a hoss of a motor for a small battery. Tried an Optima....it wouldnt even crank it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
