For me the OEM and the XL size give the best results with my Canon
I have had good results using the manufacturer brand. The XL seems to last much longer than the regular, so I never get any canon ink that isn't XL. Even if I don't use my printer for awhile, it seems like this ink is always ready to go. I don't have printer head problems if I use this ink.

Worked for a few prints, now black cartridge won't work and can't use printer.
Don't know the issue, other than I guess the sensor on the black ink quit working, keep getting "not proper ink" message from the printer. I realize these are refurbished, but I still didn't expect to not use the entire ink cartridge.

Refurbished is just as good as a brand new one, be smart, save yourself some money.
This is a great ink cartridge, just as good as a brand new one from Cannon, but at a considerable savings and cost. I highly recommend it.

Prints quite a bit
I always get the xl because I print a lot and it does print quite a bit. No smudges, good quality. The 245xl is compatible with printers that use 243 so if you’re looking to get more for your money, the 245xl is the way to go.

The ink could not have arrived any better timed. So far no problems. Seller has very reasonable prices for re-manufactured ink. If this product does not gum up my printer as so many of this type ink did my other printer, I will be back for more!

The ink cartridges are made by Canon and are highly recommended.
I received the package with the Canon PG-24XL Black Ink well made holding the ink cartridges. It was evident that they took care to package it well. I haven't opened it yet, but I have never had any trouble from any of Canon products, especially their ink cartridges. It is very difficult to find PG-245XL and CL-246XL ink cartridges now for some reason. My wife and I both have Canon Printers and they both use the same ink cartridges. I use1 black ink cartridge in about 2 months, due to my work. My wife is still on her ink cartridges ever since I bought her, her printer. She is still on the same ink cartridges that came with the printer about 8 months ago.
