OEM shaving heads at a great price

These are definitely Norelco OEM shaving heads because they're packaged in a Norelco box containing three shaving heads sealed in a plastic packet that's identical to the set of 3 new shaving heads included with my new Norelco electric razor purchased about 10 months ago. I've learned that replacing the shaving heads in a Norleco Model 5280 razor about every 6-10 months is critical to getting close shaves every time - - easily as good as my old double-edged safety razor. I will install these new shaving heads in about 6 months when the extra shaving heads that came with my razor that I just installed have worn out.

Philips Norelco now inferior quality, dull blades, not a close shave even when new

These Philips Norelco blades are not made like they used to be! I've used this brand for years and the last two razor heads I've purchased have been horrible. They pull and tug at the hair on your face rather than cutting it. The blades just aren't sharp enough evidently and are of an inferior quality. The old HQ8 heads used to be just fine but not anymore. My 1+ year old blades cut closer and were sharper than these new ones. They're awful and this is the second new set I've just purchased with the same results. I think I'm done with Philips Norelco. **This is of no fault of the seller - it is what it is as these were OEM manufacturer blades.**

  • OK replacement heads, could be better

It’s an OK set of replacement heads, not great, I think not as sharp as past heads. Mild disappointment, since it’s Phillips brand, I wanted better

  • Are these real Norelco branded replacements?

One of the three blades does not rotate and cut. The others seem to 'pull' and not give the performance I have from previous replacement blades. I question if these are actual Norelco blades or some kock off packages in a Norelco looking box. Disappointed. Threw the old blades out before trying these. Terrible shave.

  • Great product

Tried a generic brand but it did not come close to the real thing, the Philips Norelco.

  • Not the same as original blades

Ok, first off, for the price paid the blades are just ok. The original Norelco blades have an inner and outer circle of blades inside the screen. These have just one row (outer) so it takes longer to shave and they do not give as close of a shave as the original blades. The head design of these blades causes them to not glide as smoothly across your face as the original blades and caused mild irritation. I have no misgivings about the purchase of these blades. I tried them, they are inferior to the originals, and I will be going back to genuine Norelco blades next time.

  • Will have them when I need them

I got these so when the time comes I will have them to replace the old ones. Still using the heads that came with the shaver four months ago. I didn't want to be looking around trying to find new heads when these wore out.

  • Poor shave quality

It was less of a close shave than the blades I was replacing. I tried using the original screens with the new blades to see if that would make a difference, but was the same. It seemed like they could not get close to the skin like the original blades did. And yes, I did order the correct replacement parts. Had to double check after I used them.

  • Beats Burma Shave

SH50 Norelco heads fit the newer swivel top shavers. At best they last 6 months, unlike the old fixed head shavers that would last a year. New and improved they are not, but still provide an acceptable shave. Norelco- If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
