Very fast even on usb 3.0. Results of usb 3.0 sequential speed test was a consistant 265 read/ 196 write. Could not test usb 3.1 as i do not have that function on my pc. Fast good storage but fatally flawed retractable port eventually causes total device failure. Avoid.
Very fast speeds and with a nice meaty storage. However this device is majorly flawed due to issues that develop over time with the retractable USB port. It works well until it doesn't. Generally good enough and I'll have to use it for a longer time to be able to say its reliability. However a couple of negative things I've already noticed are 1. Its edge of key ring end is too shape to handle comfortably. 2. It gets very warm (heated) only after a few minutes of using it.
