    Great Mouse with Lousy Software

The mouse is top notch, but the software needs work. I've been using a G502SE with Logitech Gaming Software 9.02. That software was great and the mouse was OK. I think my G502 had a minor defect with the middle button, but I was OK with it. This G604 is much better! More buttons for macros and a middle button that works as intended. The problem is with the G HUB software that is required for the G604. I can't transfer my macros from the old software, I can't copy and paste macros between applications, and worst of all, it's sloooowwww. When I select a button, I can see the macro keys typed out on the screen one letter at a time. There is a delay between keys setting, but it only goes down to 25ms. The old software could go to 1ms, and sentence-long macros would display in the blink of an eye.

  • Top critical review

Stopped working after a few months.

Great mouse for productivity, and the software made writing macros incredibly easy. It has good ergonomics, and overall loved it, but after about three months it developed this "double click" issue that you can read about all over the place online due to logitec using poor switches or something. Now it is barely usable for even simple tasks like selecting text. For the price I'm really disappointed in the direction logitec has taken, especially considering my old logi trackball from the early 2000s is still going strong. I expected better from them.

  • Best "gaming" mouse for me.

Buttons buttons and more buttons, each one programable with the Logitech G Hub software you download from the Logitech website. Remember the days of CD's, yep no more. You got to download it yourself. Once you do and are able to program the side buttons to your needs, perfection at it's best. The battery life is very good for a wireless gaming mouse. For the money you sure do get a lot of great features. DPI speed is programable as well. The G Hub software can be a little tricky to learn at first. Perhaps a YouTube video can help some people a little better? I won't buy another mouse. G604 is the best mouse for me.

  • Light in weight but not in performance value.

My pros: I don't have large hands, but I still need the longer mice because of a wrist issue that causes pain if I use a shorter mouse. Wrist pads put my elbow at an angle that is uncomfortable due to arthritis in my joints. Arthritis can be difficult at times :) Anyway, this mouse was the perfect length and it sits comfortably under my hand when I'm using it. It's lightweight and moves easily on my lap tabletop and it's responsive. I play games like Diablo 3 and WoW, so it gets a lot of use at times. I turn it off when I'm not using it, so the battery has lasted me about a month already and it doesn't act like it's even close to drained. The mouse is about 6ft from the receiver and I've had no issues. My cons: I personally don't have any. The arthritis has made it impossible for me to use gaming mice anymore, so I knew that I was giving up mouse macro buttons going into this purchase. I use the side buttons to move up and down in games and the rest are keyboard macros. I love Logitech mice because nothing seems to work as well for me and I've tried several gaming brands. I'm sure without the arthritis, I'd be back on a regular gaming mouse, but life is what it is and this is my new normal. So if you're like me and have some arthritis in your joints and need a lightweight mouse that won't break your bank but still allows you to play games, this would be your best purchase.

  • All around great mouse

Not only does the battery last ages, the G Hub is low resource draw and allows deep customization. I made my side scroll switch tabs in chrome. Is great. All the thumb buttons can be configured per app or universally.

  • Comparable to G700s

Comfortable in hands, works smoothly with Logitech software. I’m a Mac user and it works great. Was looking for a replacement for the discontinued G700s, and this is the closest and best I’ve used. I wish the scroll wheel was adjustable like the G700, but not too big of a deal. I like a lot of buttons and not all on the thumb side like all other mmo or multi-button gaming mice. 604 is worth it.

  • Best mouse that I have ever used!

I have been in IT for 20+ years. This is the most comfortable mouse that I have ever used. I have large hands and unlike other mice, it fills the void in my palm. Very precise movement. High quality mouse.

  • Great battery powered wireless gaming mouse

I needed a wireless mouse that had lots of buttons and was battery powered. I hate the standard of rechargeable mice today, I know that it seems nicer to not waste batteries “go green” but in reality it takes fossil fuels to produce that energy so it doesn’t matter whether you pick rechargeable or not. I personally prefer double A’s over recharging as they last much longer too. - This mouse also comes with 6 extra side buttons which I LOVE! I can keybind them to go forward and backward, open programs, and press keys in game Overall, nice mouse and for Black Friday it was a solid deal

  • Works Great, Not Cumbersome

Works great. Doesn't have a ton of extra keys like gaming mice so it's good for productivity. Heard software was a pain to use but I have have zero issues with it. Great deal!
