    PRO T721 NON-PROGRAMMABLE UNIT !

    !!! This is for a PRO T721 NON-Programmable unit NOT the Honeywell T6 Pro!!! The thermostat was easily installed, has light you press anytime to see setting, no programs to set ie: day, night, summer, fall which would have to be constantly change due to weather conditions. You can set one cool temperature for summer day or night and one for heat in winter. By the way our summers usually have 30 plus 100 degree days and nights are around 85 (Late May thru Sept.) Winter days usually average 50 degrees and 30 at night (Late Nov. thru Feb.). Usually only have to set one temperature for summer and one for winter, no messing around for each day or which hour to set. Simple to use, looks good and it can be shut off anytime when you don;t need to use and of course it wouldn't kick in unless the indoor temperature falls within your set range. Being that it's a digital thermostat, it is more precise and this can also save you money. I would recommend this product.

    Works well for me

    If you do not need connectivity, this is a great deal on an easy-to-install and use digital thermostat. Took me 10min to install. 10 min to program. Works with my 1980s era furnace (2 wires), but it has connections and intelligent features to work with modern heating and cooling systems, including heat pumps.

    I do HVAC for a living and this is our preferred thermostat.

    I do HVAC install and repair for a living, and these are my company's favorite thermostats. I installed 3 to control zone valves on my own house. It's overkill for what I need but these are the easiest thermostats to set up and program. Just walk through the set up and once you've made your selections, it hides features that you don't want to use. For example, once I selected radiant heat, all the furnace options are removed from the programming steps and you don't see fan or cooling options. Might sound like no big deal, it makes programming and operating smoother. The same thing happens with the programmable features. If you select non programmable, you don't have to mess around with hold and all that stuff. You can also set the number of cooling and heating cycles per hour. This is a really nice and easy to use feature. If you change your mind an want to use these features, it's simple to go back in and turn them back on. The only downfall is that this thermostat is not the wifi capable model. If you need a wifi thermostat, you need to research other Honeywell options. And by the way, don't buy anything but Honeywell if you want long-term quality I replace a lot of non Honeywell thermostats due to intermittent issues.

    Great reliable brand for HVAC systems

    My HVAC unit came with an off brand thermostat that would not work with it. Talked to HVAC workers in the field and they recommended the Honeywell brand with simple on/off and without touchscreen. But I wanted some programming capabilities to make it more efficient. I chose this model because it had weekday/weekend programming options and it had a bigger font size and nighttime back-lighting. It has good packaging. Came with all the manual for installation, setup, configuration, and using. This thermostat will work with many types of HVAC systems, so it has multiple ways to connect it. I have a heat pump system and had to look through the manual for the correct wiring. It was a little more complicated than expected but it worked. My first connection attempt had the AC and heat running at the same time, but after looking over the manual again at another configuration, I switched 2 wires and it fixed the problem. The AC has been working for 2 months and I just started using the heater, which is also working correctly. This is a very good brand. I am very happy with my purchase and would purchase again. I expect many years of use. Thank you.
