Dependable workhorse

There is no dispute that this mike is one of the well known industry standards. It would be fair to say however, that it would always be wise to try other mikes either from the same range or different manufacturers. In other words one size does not fit all. Everyone has a different quality in their voice which can only be complimented by finding a microphone most suited to achieve the best result. A great microphone but for singing I prefer HyperX Cloud 2 headphones
I mainly use the microphone to record my own singing. I bought this microphone after reading information and reviews. I have compared the singing results from this microphone and my other microphones. As a result of the comparison, I prefer the over-ear gaming HyperX Cloud 2 headphones which has a microphone attached to it to record my singing, because when compared with Shure SM58, result from these headphones is a bit clearer and not so, say, muffled.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
