It leaves a lot of streak marks on the floor
It does not work as advertised, It does mop the floor, but you can see a lot of streak marks on the floor. I have tried different types of pads, I am using recommended cleaning solution with no luck. my next try will be with vinegar and water to see if I have a little bit of luck. Not as Groundbreaking as the Roomba i7 Vacuum, Still a Super Helpful Little Device
I've seen some not-so-great reviews about the M6 and I can understand why, BUT i'm here you tell you if you love your Roomba vacuum you're going to love this mop too, just with one caveat. You need to get through the mapping process and setup some "no go zones." I feel like the biggest complaint with this mop is that it gets "stuck" but there is a work around. On my first mapping run, this mop went down a slight incline into the laundry room and couldn't get back up. After I addressed that, the mop went WAY deep into a carpeted area (even though it's supposed to recognize carpeting). So started over, I physically blocked off the areas I didn't want it to go with gates and furniture, mapped it, mapped it again. Then I moved all my gates and used the "no go zones" for the areas I previously blocked off. Now I haven't had a problem with it getting stuck. Dry mopping. Before I bought this I couldn't really understand the point of dry mopping. I thought, "Is it really clean just running a dry pad all over the floor??" Well yeah, actually it is. The proof is in the pudding. Run the M6 with the dry pad and look how much dirt and pet hair it picks up, it's pretty impressive. After the iPhone I really feel like the Roomba i7+ vacuum is the 2nd coolest piece of consumer technology. The Braava M6 isn't that game changing, but I would definitely put it in my top 10 pieces of consumer tech.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great addition to the iRobot crew
I have a roomba i3+ and the BraavaJet m6 is a good pair to have with this vacuum. The mapping works well and allows me to only clean certain areas of the house if needed. It dry mops and wet mops so you can choose what works best. Switching between the dry and wet mop features is as simple as switching the pad. I do wish you could buy the cleaning solution from somewhere other than iRobot and that there were more safe cleaners to use in the Braava Jet. I was particularly impressed with the mopping capabilities from a robotic mop. With these two particular units, I only have to deep clean about once per week. As a Healthcare professional, it saves me a lot of time and keeps my house cleaner between manual cleanings. Overall, would recommend this product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Good, with a high price tag.
Great for keeping the place clean in between manual cleanings. You do need to clear up toys, wires, rugs, etc before setting it loose. It can get trapped in bathrooms with thresholds even if they are low and beveled. Also got stuck under an office wheeled swivel chair - so beware...You will have to clean up at corners that it cant enter, and it sometimes leaves a bit of a trail at these places. Great product BUT
It does what it’s supposed to. It does well at mapping out the rooms. I love that you can schedule it to clean at certain times during the week. My house stays clean now with minimal work for me. HOWEVER, the one I purchase occasionally gives an error message saying the wheel is stuck before even leaving the dock. And when that happens I have remove the bot from the dock by hand and push start. It still works but it’s an inconvenience when you schedule it to clean while you’re away but still have to get the job started yourself. Other than that one issue I love the product. Good but could be better
Does a good job of cleaning the floor. The cleaning solution provided with the Braava works good but I haven't tried any other product in the unit so I can't compare the solution effectiveness. Would like to see how well I robot cleaning solution compares to Bona cleaning products. Before purchasing the Braava I was using the Bona system which is manual.
