Nice upgrade over original remote
Bought this to replace the remote for Bravia 77" A80J. I wanted the backlit feature but I was also pleased with the improved feel when pressing the buttons. They have a distinct click when pressed. The original was ok but it had a softer, mushy feel. The backlit on the replacement remote is not overly bright and the 'Back" and "Home" keys that are blue when lit are harder to see in the dark. However, this isn't a big deal. The remote seems to have a little better quality to it over the original but it's close. Setting up the remote to sync with the tv was easy but getting it to work with my Verizon cable box took a little effort but works fine. I agree with other reviewers that Sony should have included this remote with the TV. Guess that's why the A90J is so pricey Overall, very satisfiedVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great lighted remote upgrade
This remote is a replacement upgrade for my Sony XR 55A80J TV the remote that came with it was not a lighted remote but the one that comes with the Sony XR 55A90J TV is so I found this on eBay. It was brand new never opened and was shipped fast and I received it in great condition. Really Nice Upgrade for Sony XR80J

Buy this or Pay $1,000 more for the TV
Bought this because my Sony OLED 80J TV had the same remote without the backlighting. This remote is standard on the more expensive ($1,000+) A90J OLED TV. The picture on both is virtually identical. Great backlit remote for Sony HD TV
This product came fast and works exactly as advertised. The magic of this remote is the soft lighted dial that allows you to see basic functions in a dark room. For some reason Sony decided to sell 75in HD TV's with a basic remote that has NO light light function and you have to turn on a light or have a flashlight handy to see anything in a dark room.
