good for underwater only
As expected from reading many reviews on camera review sites, image quality is not the greatest. The value here lies in it being a drop-resistant camera and underwater camera. I bought it for it's underwater abilities and in that regard it's great. Far better than the camera in a flexible case option I was using before. The screen is very visible and buttons easy to use. For above surface I still use an older Canon Powershot that is far smaller and takes far better photos. Controls are also easier to use with the Canon.

Great camera for a great price
This is a great little waterproof, portable, easy to use "point and shoot" camera. I had a similar modle for years and needed another one and this camera fit the bill. Very compact for travel and indestructable too. For the money it ca't be beat!
